[amayausers] Re: Embroidery Library Last Supper

Susan -

I hae a few thoughts. I'd probably start by having a couple of drinks!

But here are some things that may work:

  1) seperate the design into 2 parts with say 100 color changes on the first
and then 80 on the second. The potential problem here would be that you will
have to change threads more than you otherwise would. Then run the first
hundred color changes, keep the hoop on the machine and run the second 80. I'm
no genius but logically that should work.
  2) The other thought would be to move some of the color changes around until
you can eliminate 30 of them. You would need to group like colors and have
them sew back to back probably by adding a trim in between.

Those are what come to mind and I'm only into these machines for about 18
months so others can tell me where I'm wrong. (Although I know starting with a
cocktail or three would make the job at least SEEM to go smoother)

best of luck and let us know what your ultimate solution is.

  Hello Everyone,
I am probably crazy but I want to try and stitch out
the Last Supper design that Embroidery Library offers.
This is definitely for personal use. I wouldn't do
it for a customer unless they paid me megabucks!
Anyways there are 180 color changes and DS and OS only
go to 150. What is the best way to deal with this??

There are 30 different colors in the design. I think
I know how to deal with that--though it will be a
pain.

Thanks for any help!
