[amayausers] Re: EPS file

 My first thought is that if it's coming from a Mac, you will need to add the 
extension .eps.

Note Windows does not recognize the resource fork that Macs embed in the file 
but looks only at the file extension. It does mean that if you put the wrong 
extension on a file, Windows will still think it belongs to that extension 
(like adding .eps to a word document, or .doc to a graphic file). To further 
complicate things, Windows no longer shows the extension in the file name but 
only displays the graphic according to the program the extension belongs to and 
once renamed, the file is now "linked" to the program and changing the 
extension to the correct one (if you first added the wrong extension) is not as 
simple so I guess the advice is get it right the first time. :-) It is one of 
the many things I don't like about Windows. :-(

I have had a customer e-mail me an eps file. I cannot insert it into
DesignShop Pro+. I think I have done so in the past. However, it says,
"wrong file extension."
