John,
It has been discussed to start producing updates again. Melco used to
supply "Service Paks" that would update the current released version of the
software. This became more of a burden on resources at Melco to maintain
than what Melco management felt was cost effective. There is much more to it
than just making a patch or upgrade. The support when people download it to
get it installed, the support of it when it does not work as intended, the
support of its creation, testing and documentation, the support of it to be
made available etc.. It is truly amazing what it actually takes. It became
more cost effective to create new CD's that install automatically.
From discussions I have been in, it is being considered to offer Service
Paks again. If it happens, it will not happen until after the first of the
year a bit.

Jeff:
Does Melco ever plan to offer updates via download (not major revs) but
patches to the OS or incremental improvements? Sure would beat calling up
and asking for new versions every time they come out. Or do they already
offer this?
Thanks!
John

Rod,
The 6.08.522 is officially released. The new files I have are different as
I have not given them to anyone at this point, and they were just made
Monday. :) What version or RSA and CSA are you using?
