[amayausers] Re: Digitizer Question

I do that except no free shipping. If someone wants 25 shirts with
digitizing. I give them one price for everything instead of breaking it
down. If they want 25 shirts with a custom logo. Instead of charging $25 per
shirt and $75 for digitizing. I give them a flat fee of $700. Next time they
order 25 shirts, it is $625. Luckily no one has asked me for a design yet
but it isn't worth fighting with your customer over it. All you are going to
do is make them mad and get a bad reputation.
I'm assuming what Veena means there are the companies that sell shirts with
a $4 markup each shirt. I have seen a couple people that buy shirts for $18
and sell them embroidered for $22 with digitizing included. Add roughly $1
per shirt for shipping, backing, thread, bobbin, electricity, etc. Those are
the ones not making any money. 4 shirts per hour = $12 per hour profit. I
just laugh when thier motherboard breaks at several hundred dollars and
there goes all thier profit for the year. Or even ruin a shirt during a run.
(Everyone has done that including myself.) I would rather have the machine
sit and do nothing.

All the time. There are companies offering free embroidery, free
digitizing, free setup, free shipping etc., I don't know how they run a
business? Haven't learnt the secret yet.
