[amayausers] Design with fonts

Help everyone!
  I was wondering how I can use a design from say Dakota and fonts from say 
Grand Slam on the same design?  I guess I don't understand how to add the 
lettering to the design.  Can anyone help me in giving me some steps on how to 
do that???  I can add them from the fonts in Design Shop, but how do I use 
other fonts that are not saved on the hard drive but are on the disc???
