[amayausers] Re: Design Shop 2005

Jeff,

one key feature of the actual drop shadow tool though as opposed to your way is
that the drop shadow tool removes the overlap on the shadow so that you aren't
sewing the exact image twice. On large letters where you may be sewing a drop
shadow effect on two satin stitch letters using the non-option way you tend to
get a bleeding effect of the two colors sewing over top of each other....where
as the new drop shadow option only overlaps the two colors minimal and doesn't
cause you to have to sew over the bottom letter. It may sound like a little
thing but the actual tool makes a much better job. I used to use the duplicate
and move way often but now that I upgraded I insist on the shadow tool. I do a
lot of shadowing and the tool is much better if you have the option.
