[amayausers] Re: Design Knock Out - Is there an easy way

Hi Sharon...was great to meet you two on your trip through-and the
tip on
the setting in lettering-what a bonus!
Yes, I know the Dakota's are 'universal' and will run everything-
but I found (since I get some time to play around) that I can get 20-30%
less stitches by changing their fills to 'fill and underlayment',
throw out the
fills and excess stitches, and reorganizing some of how the stitching
sews-
keeping all colors together where possible, etc.
Speeds up the sewing tremendously. But, if you don't have the time
to do it, they will run fine.
Since I do most work by the stitch count, customers want it cut down.
And I do see a lot of the outline pulling away-by changing the fills I
can adjust pull comp or even move stitches.
