I just ordered my friend some of the chenille scarves and hats they have, and a 
hoodie.  Very nice and soft, but expensive.  Don't think you will find cheap 
chenille though.

  I saw the Colorado Trading Chunky Monkey Chenille baby blankets at their 
roadshow. absolutely wonderful/gorgeous.  I've not embroidered on chenille 
before but bought a couple for samples anyway.  I have not seen Colorado 
Trading stuff any less expensive than what S&S offers.
