You can install another NIC (network interface card) in the desktop and hook up
with a hub or crossover cable to the laptop.
But I find I have not had to go to this extent.
It works fine to just run the Amaya and network through a hub.
Have had no issues.
Though MELCO does not recomend this They do like to encourage you to Isolate
their software as to prevent them from having to make it compatable.
