I donate and they sell for $$$. The Siamese are the reason I bought
the Amaya.
How about fleece or flannel baby blankets with a cute design in one
corner? If you have a serger the edges are a snap to finish. But
before I ran off doing things I would ASK. Some places have specific
needs or restrictions. Maybe hook up with another group that does say
charity quilting. You might be able to provide some embroidered
squares for them.
Fleece lap blankets, walker caddies would work for nursing homes.
Maybe there is a group that makes walker caddies and you could
embroider them.
Send me an e-mail and maybe we can brainstorm this some more.

Thanks, Marilou. Your siamese rescue is a great project! Congrats.
I'm mainly looking for things I can donate, not sell. Local
hospitals, nursing homes, needy children, etc. The teddy bears for
sick children in the hospital is a good example.
I closed my screen printing & embroidery business the end of last
year due to the declining health of my parents in another state. I
did keep my Amaya but haven't been doing any sales with it. Thought
maybe I could put it to good use doing something worthwhile for
others, on my own schedule.
