Roland,
Out of curiousity, what speed is your computer and how much ram do you have?
Some of the Dakota designs have so many elements and are graphic intense and
work best with a fast computer. I'm not running the most up to date (I have
a 2.4 ghz Pentium 4 w/ 512 ram) computer but I rarely crash and at times
have up to 20 designs open that I'm either working on or sending to machies.
Just a thought !!!!!!!!!!

Heres' an update Jeff and everyone...
I finally got the converted and shrunk image Jeff sent me to
load....cleaned
it up, got the colors straightened out-and removed a whole pile of
unwanted
garbage threading...got it to 11,000 stitches. Saved it all, and just for
laughs tried to shrink it. It worked! this time anyways...got it down to
10,000 stitches and now ready to add lettering.
Trying out the 'flame' lettering....looks crazy but fits this logo....hope
it works!
But still something funny going on with the program....
so next week, Jeff...give me a yell and tell me how to reinstall or wipe
out
and restart or whatever...
