[amayausers] Re: Bally Fitness

One quick note about the Bally's logo...

If a Bally's franchise has not asked or authorized you to sew the logo on goods
for them...it is not really legal to use their logo on someone elses goods that
are not in a position to authorize it. i am assuming that this customer may
belong to a fitness program at Bally's but is not in a position of authority in
the franchise to authorize it.

Be careful...all it would take is for the customer to wear it to the gym and
have management know that it is not an authorized product purchased from the
franchise and put up a red flag. If the customer tells where they had it done
you could be in hot water.

I have been in the printing business for 24 years and the embroidery business
for 2 years and am very aware of what is cosher and what is not and would not
jeapordize my business for the sake of a $10.00 embroidery job.

That could be classes in the same boat as counterfitting. Penalties are high.

We get customers once a week wanting us to sew a pro sports logo on goods and we
know that it is a risk and turn it away to the place down the street. If they
are silly enough to try it then great.

Just a thought
