[amayausers.com] Re: Backing question

I think you mean "tulle" which is a type of netting. Toile is actually a type of fabric for quilting and sewing, etc.

Might be a fabric called "toile" which is used for embroidery.

Is there a reason why you would use either the nylon or poly mesh????

Sounds like poly or nylon mesh and you can find it just about anywhere...Melco Mart, Dashew, RNK Distributors, Gunold, to mention a few.

Happy New Year Everyone!

I am looking for a backing that is on a Cheerleading shirt brought in from a school.

It looks like a very durable soft feeling mesh. However it is not a tearaway. Using this mesh has allowed someone to embroider a rather large design on the front of the garment which had a horizontal stretch to the material.

I am looking for a supplier of such a backing????

Thanks for any help!
Darlene
