I might have been the one that said I didn't use backing or that it wasn't needed--believe me there was no pull or stretch to the wool lettermans jackets I did--they were too heavy for that. But, perhaps, that's just my experience...

A second question, I had one response that said they didn't use backing, but the wool will stretch and push, how do you stabilize it? Also, I will be using the 11.75 x 14.25 rectangle frame (plastic) hooping tips are welcome.
