Beverly,
Great to hear things went well for you. You deserve it. You and Mr.
Thompson are really good people. Sure hope you're doing better since your
hard drive fiasco.
And let that be a lesson to all of us in the "Computerized Embroidery
Industry"... If you haven't backed up your designs and files on your hard
drive that you use on a daily basis, be sure to invest in an oversized pair
of boots so that you might give yourself a good square kick in the bottom if
and when your hard drive crashes. Not only that, but are your software
disks and access codes in one place where you would know to find them when
building your next PC?
Lest we not forget about the powers of lightning and the un-thinkable of
getting burglarized. All the more reason to save your files to CD's or even
a small external hard drive that can be quickly plugged in and unplugged for
backing up on a regular basis. I would even go as far as recommending you
keep your backed up copies at a different location, forbidding your place of
embroidery were to catch on fire. Sure, insurance can buy all new equipment
but it can't replace all the time spent in getting your files just the way
you like them and designs just the way your customer's like them.
Just a thought to share with my colleagues.

Subject: [amayausers] Thank you
Thanks to Mr. Ed O. and all the rest who responded to my call for help.
Used two pieces of cut away and made sure they were hooped tight but not
stretched. It worked! I only lost one shirt and used that to tweak it til
we got it right.
Thanks again,
Beverly Thompson
