[amayausers] Re: Auto Acti-Feed ?

Hi Herb,
I was stitching with it all the way down.  I had tons
of trouble with thread breaking.  After weeks of
trouble Sharon asked me if my presser foot was set for
my fabric.  Being the newbie I didn't even know I
could do that.  I realized afterwards that I wasn't
having much trouble on T-shirts or wovens but was
having tons of trouble on sweatshirts and fleece
blankets.  For sweatshirts I think I usually raise it
a notch and for fleece blankets I raise if about two
notches.  It is just supposed to sit on top of the
fabric--not push down hard on it or sit above it.
