We use a a database in Filemaker Pro that I put together-has all of Alpha and
Sanmar items we use 'behind it' at cost, then creates an invoice where we fill
in the blanks-shirt size, color, etc. and quantity per size. Embroidery or
screenprinting 'cost per item' is
either automatic (for screenprinting per color) or we have an 'override' box to
figure embroidery per thousand stitch price.
Shirt prices are the same for either, but price is figured on a scale markup
over cost by quantity needed.
I have it set up for Filemaker pro in Mac, as far as I know it works in PC
filemaker also. You can totally customize any invoice page you want-they have
'templates' to work with or you can build them from scratch. We can even call
up an invoice, plug in what the customer thinks they want for quantity, then go
to a 'quote' page and show them how prices drop on that item with a higher
quantity order.
