Bob,

I havent seen the Old Amaya. The first time I saw it was at the ISS Show
longbeach. I then flew to melbourne and tested it again. I was so impressed
by it I ordered a test machine which I got delivery of in under ten days
from placing the order.

I havent had time to put it into full scale production yet but it will be
on line in the next couple of days. What happens from there only time will
tell. There certainly seems to be a lot more maintanence to do than the
convetional maachines as far as the tensioning system goes.

This is some thing I will have to weigh up in the long run. Whether the
extra 200 spm is worth it or not. Bucause the old tensioning system is
virtually maintanence free.

Although I prefer manual tensioning [just my preference, doesn't mean
everyone else should to], I can see where auto tensioning will be one of
the Amaya's strong selling points [as long as it works well].

I have not seen the new XT. Does it use the same cap system as the
original Amaya or has it been changed ?

Bob
