Maybe your x-axis is fine but your hoop arms are crooked. Consider
loosening the two set screws per arm and moving in the appropriate direction
a 1/4 of an inch.
Good luck,

Subject: [amayausers] Amaya Problem
Can anyone give me some help/direction?
My X axis is 1/4" off center. Was sewing my design, hoop limit did not
detect that I was too close and hit the hoop.
Design on screen is centered within my hoop limits and have centered the
hoop, but the X axis is still off.
Thanks in advance,
Cindy @ Finyl Vinyl
