=3CBODY=3E=3CP=3EAnand=2C=3C/P=3E =3CP=3E Just a question and it is not to
come out sounding bad/mean etc=2E=26nbs= p=3B From all the recent posts I
have been reading you don=27t seem too = happy with the operation and the
construction of the Amaya=2C Am I right= =3F=26nbsp=3B My question is why
didyou purchase one if you are familia= r with another brand and prefer the
operation of others=3F=26nbsp=3B I h= ave six Amayas now (5 red and white
ranging from 4 years old to 8 months= old and 1 black/silver just 3 weeks
old) and have no problems with the = grabbers and any other parts including
the feeding system=2E=26nbsp=3B B= oth my two full time embroidery girls
havecame to me from shops running= both six and eight head tajimas and four
and six head barudans=2E=26nbs= p=3B They both prefer the operation=2C speed
and ease of the amayas over= the others=2E=26nbsp=3B Now that Melco has
gotten over the inital desig= n/operation problems of the new technology
theyare making damn fine mac= hines and the majority of the list will agree
that they are satisfied wi= th the overall Amaya=2E=26nb sp=3BMaybe if you
put aside your preconcieved notions that the grabber =22= is out the do you
in=22 and ran the machine steady for a short period th= e fear would go away
and you would really appreciate the production adva= ntages to the Melco
Amaya=2E=3C/P=3E =3CP=3EThis message is in no way linked to Melco Staff and
Iam not bein= g paid by Melco for my plugs on this users page=2E=2E=2E=2Ebut
if Melco = is monitoring you can deliver=26nbsp=3Banother new XT at No
Chargeto th= e address listed on my website=2E=26nbsp=3B He He=3C/P=3E
=3CP=3EI am just a very satisfied customer of Melco who can crank up the=
machines and produce 2-3 million hassle free stitches per day=2E=2E=2E=2E=

=3CBR=3E=26gt=3B =3CBR=3E=26gt=3B If you= go to a show check out how the
grabber on all the other =3CBR=3E=26gt=3B= brands of =3CBR=3E=26gt=3B

=3CBR=3E=26gt=3B =3CBR=3E=26gt=3B I have had my Amaya for= over 3 years and
have never had the =3CBR=3E=26gt=3B grabber chop my =3C= BR=3E=26gt=3B
fingers=2E If you think about it=2C if the grabber were to= be placed
=3CBR=3E=26gt=3B on the back =3CBR=3E=26gt=3B of the head=2C = how would it
grab the thread after a trim=2E Also=2C it =3CBR=3E=26gt=3B= would be
=3CBR=3E=26gt=3B sticking out behind the head itself and could= =2C
dependingon what =3CBR=3E=26gt=3B you were =3CBR=3E=26gt=3B stitchi= ng=2C
possibly hang up on a garment=2E =3CBR=3E=26gt=3B I did make two m=
odifications on my machine to the grabber=2E First I =3CBR=3E=26gt=3B re=
movedthe screws that connect it to the actuator arms and painted =3CBR=3E=
=26gt=3B it flat black=2C =3CBR=3E=26gt=3B second=2C when I re installed=
it=2C I used small flat head screws=2E =3CBR=3E=26gt=3B This is =3CBR=3E=
=26gt=3B because at times=2C if everything is lined up exactly right=2C =
when a =3CBR=3E=26gt=3B trim is =3CBR=3E =26gt=3B done and the grabber moves
back to capture the tread after trim= =2C =3CBR=3E=26gt=3B the round
=3CBR=3E=26gt=3B head screws would drag o= n the left hand hoop support
arm=2E I =3CBR=3E=26gt=3B believe Melco =3C= BR=3E=26gt=3B has a field mod
for this problem=2E The flat black is to c= ut the =3CBR=3E=26gt=3B glare
when =3CBR=3E=26gt=3B trying to see to ret= hread a needle=2E
