My foot or sould I say my finger what saftey? heh heh. That thing comes up
and nearly chops your fingers off ever time you press another button. Like
after threading up and trying to go back a few stitches.

The length of the spring is also inadequate. Any reputable manufacturer
does R & D and makes changes. I heard SWF pours tons of money into R&D. The
have developed a multi tasking two head if my information is right.

The grabber was put in front of the needles as a requirement by OSHA for
safety purposes. This is according to our trainer when we got our first
machine. Also realize that each time there is a change in the machine
design it requires retooling and could cost several thousands of dollars
that in turn is added to our cost. That is why they do several at the
time they bring out a new model instead of making changes in each
production order.
