[amayausers] Re: Advice on settings for Hooptech system

Hi, Wendy and all-
Here are my current Hooptech settings for TCS1 and TCS2 windows. You may
need to adjust the angle of the clamping plate to get as close to the edges
as I have listed. If the clamping window goes too low, it may catch on your
Amaya needle plate and restrict movement. Please be careful when entering
the values: if you have any doubt on direction (+/-) of movement, make a
small adjustment first to confirm (1/4 inch or so). Also, keep the clamp
closed while adjusting. Finally, with the new Amaya OS, I found the Hoop
Manager did not respond the way I expected. I don't remember what I had to
do to make it work, but I believe I picking the correct hoop shape was a
critical step that had to be right the first time. You can always delete the
hoop definition if you get one messed up.

TCS2 - Window B1
x-dimension = 4.5"
y-dimension = 6.0"
X Hoop Offset = 0
Y Hoop Offset = -3.0 (NOTE: Negative value)
thickness = 0.252
default sew margin = 0.15 in.

TCS2 - Window B3
x-dimension = 7.5"
y-dimension = 6.0"
X Hoop Offset = 0
Y Hoop Offset = -3.0 (NOTE: Negative value)
thickness = 0.252
default sew margin = 0.15 in.

TCS1 - Window P1 (double check limits - I don't use this much)
x-dimension = 2.5"
y-dimension = 4.0"
X Hoop Offset = 0
Y Hoop Offset = -2.374 (NOTE: Negative value)
thickness = 0.252
default sew margin = 0.15 in.

TCS1 - Window P2
x-dimension = 3.5"
y-dimension = 4.0"
X Hoop Offset = 0
Y Hoop Offset = -2.374 (NOTE: Negative value)
thickness = 0.252
default sew margin = 0.15 in.

TCS1 - Window P3
x-dimension = 4.5"
y-dimension = 4.5"
X Hoop Offset = 0
Y Hoop Offset = -2.374 (NOTE: Negative value)
thickness = 0.252
default sew margin = 0.15 in.
