[amayausers] Re: Advice on settings for Hooptech system

LOL....well, I think the name change may help me charge a fair price! My
real reason for the change is that I'm also creating jewelry (relates to custom
accessories) and make some small quilts (home decor). I needed a trade name
that would cover whatever I'm able to sell.
How are you doing? I am doing better selling my jewelry this year than my
embroidery. A few decent size orders for some of my husband's military
colleagues but everything else is small volume. I've invested in a Yellow Page
ad
which will be in print in November. I also tried placing an ad in a newspaper
supplement. And now I'm researching some craft shows....not to do on site
embroidery....but to take some items pre-embroidered and then also provide an
order form for those who want something special (the problem with that,
however,
is that I don't have a credit card service yet). My hubby took a web design
course and I now have a website: www.patriciasegar.com. It's functional but
needs some updates (I'm going to add another catelog link)....weather
permitting, hubby will do them this coming weekend. My reason for the website
was to
make it easier for people to peruse a catelog. I still prefer to consult and
then give them a price once I have an idea about their order size.
Are you keeping busy with embroidery or did you add on something else? I
don't know whether it is just me but I feel like marketing is the hardest thing
to do. Hats off to all those entrepreneurs who figure out how to grow their
businesses!

Regards,
Pati
