I've done one 3D puff design out of the dakota designs collection. I had to
do the thread over the puff 2 times to get good coverage. I stitched it out on
a tote. Unfortunately it was so long ago (1-1/2 years) that I don't remember
what material thickness I used. I do remember it was relatively simple
(other than having to double the stitches part). Of course, I do remember that
you
have to make sure all the ends are stitched over (that is if you're
digitizing it yourself). Now that I think of it, maybe I'll take a closer look
at
that design and see how it was put together.
Well, there's my 2 cents (although it probably is worth it). Good Luck.

<<Hi Herb--this is Sharon. Rod said, "Yes, he would add for the cap and
then even use the color by settings for center seam." We haven't done foam as
yet--just haven't had time to play with that. Rod has been pretty busy
digitizing for others when he has any spare time. We just pulled in from Salt
Lake
about midnight last night. Let us know how the foam stuff turns out!

Rod,
The material thickness preset says 19, but then do I add the cap thickness
to that? What do you think?

Herb,
I have not actually done puffy foam myself, yet....but....in some of the
seminar training that I have attended, depending on the thickness of the foam
,
19 to 25 was mentioned as a starting point.....
