THE OTHER SHOE HAS DROPPED AND NOW I'M REALLY SICK
Like most of you I have been waiting for the Bush/Rove spin machine to 
try and counteract the disasterous PR re the lack of response to 
Katrina. Now we know what really caused that mess. It was the Louisiana 
Democrats. And the reason there was not a follow on disaster in Texas 
was because of that state's Republicans, Can we get real here? FEMA did 
not seem to know what was happening in NO even with that disaster 
graphically portrayed on mainstream TV news!!!! Should I have expected 
more from my government. YES!!! Did I expect it. NO!!!!
And now they use Katrina as an excuse to cut social programs in the 
Federal budget, allow oil drilling in previously off limits coastal 
regimes, etc. Gad!! Let's make the problem worse as opposed to trying 
to remedy it.
