Rodger French is right on the money re the joys and dangers of bicycle
commuting and how to cope with them. I would only add that the cyclist
needs to be aware that ALL motorists (save those on motorcycles) have
trained their eyes to see ONLY that which can hurt them, A cyclist and
bicycle are NOT one of those. So beware! You are for all intents
invisible.
