Hello everyone,
We are about to schedule new rallies in new locations in Atlanta after the
month of September:
Please let us know:
1) Does your work; school or family, personal schedule allows you to MAKE ONE
OR TWO hours commitment to be part of our street actions and help us to get a
better visibility? If so:
2) What days (Monday through Sunday) are the best days for you to PARTICIPATE
in street rallies?
3) What time of the day is a good time for you (during the day, early in
afternoon, late in afternoon)
4) What locations (most people prefer locations near MARTA station where they
are pedestrians around and we can pass out flyers or get petitions signed or
simply talking to them)?
5) How often you can come to these rallies (weekly, monthly, every once in
while, on special occasion, or never and you just like to be informed about
them!)
6) What are YOUR ISSUES that you think requires some street actions. Our
street actions up to this point have been, for the most part and not always,
over the issue of war.
7) Please SHARE some of your concerns, ideas and insights with us as how to
make our street actions more EFFECTIVE and successful and how to get MORE
PEOPLE out there in streets.
Our numbers are SMALL in our weekly rallies wherever they are being held; we
need MORE people to make COMMITMENT to be present at these rallies in our
opposition of war and Bush policies. Events such Sept 24 come once or twice of
the year; WE need to be more CONSISTENT and SYSTEMATIC in OUR PUBLIC EXPRESSION
OF OUR DEMANDS.
Let me know what you all think,
Azi
