Artists Rebuild Together (A.R.T.)

 WHAT:

Diaspora Vibe Gallery presents Artists Rebuild Together (ART), a silent 
auction and party with live music and entertainment to benefit the artistic 
community of New Orleans in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. 

 WHEN: 

Friday, September 23, 7pm - 11pm 

 WHO: 

DVG artists will donate contemporary creative works to be auctioned. DVG 
will adopt a New Orleans' artist of need, whose work relates to the mission 
of Diaspora Vibe Gallery, and donate all funds raised by the auction to this 
artist. This auction kicks off a new program by DVG entitled Artists Rebuild 
Together (A.R.T.) A.R.T. will branch off to be a creative exchange in which 
Diaspora Vibe Gallery encourages the creative process, despite tragic 
destruction and loss. 

 WHY: 

In such catastrophic moments, DVG would like to actively encourage the value 
of life, art-making, and artists in the rebuilding process of the New 
Orleans community. 

 HOW: 

Join DVG in pure style, good music, and fine contemporary art from the
