ATLANTA COMMUNITY TO HOLD 9/11 VIGIL AT ATLANTA MASJID OF AL-ISLAM 

 Event to mark anniversary of attack, promote interfaith unity, and heal as
one community 

On Sunday, September 11, Atlanta community will gather in front of the
Atlanta Masjid of Al-Islam of internationally-known Imam Plemon El-Amin. 
Along with the vigil, the event will include remarks by leaders of
different faiths and Council on American Islamic relations-Atlanta. In
strong unity, the interfaith communities will affirm the message of peace
and justice for all without discriminating or dehumanizing any one
community while healing together for a better tomorrow. The communities do
not condone more wars and destruction in the aftermath of 9/11 tragedy.
