This is a VERY HIGH ALERT for meteor activity!
The PERSEIDS meteor shower is increasing rapidly, and peaking over the next
48 hours with an expected rate of 100-300 meteors per hour. Due the the long
radio echoes that these meteors produce, my automated system has not
triggered an alert because it has become "saturated" with signals.
Meteor shower activity should peak between 11h30 and 14h00 UT on Aug 12th,
then decline steadily.
Through the G7IZU RRD website you can listen to the output of my receivers.
Follow the links to "live audio".
