June is the peak month for activity, so meteor counting will be severely affected whilst my system is swamped with signals from distant TV stations. In an effort to maintain the activity alert indicators on the website, the system is programmed to switch over to the less accurate 143 MHz system during times of sporadic-E. The alert indicators for the backup system are blue. There have been times in the last week where the programming has been rather confused by some of the signals and false alerts have been issued.
