Save the Children Indonesia is seeking a facilitation specialist to be a
part of our Positive Deviance Technical Assistance Team. Positive
Deviance is a methodology used to address social problems in a community
by identifying successful strategies already existing, and using them to
build community-based movements. Currently, Save the Children is
applying PD to issues such as child malnutrition and the prevention of

The Facilitator will provide training and technical assistance to

implementing the positive deviance approach. Facilitating and training

health care, as well providing TA for data collection and processing,
documentation and evaluation of on-going projects, as well as report
writing will make up a major proportion of the job. Training in PD will
be provided by Save the Children.

with potential for extension to a permanent position.
