Did you upgrade your Jaws in the past few days?
If not, what version are you running?

Please think back these few days. What changes have you made to your computer?
Did you install anything, remove anything, made any changes?
Anything at all, big or small?
If you have been using the same Jaws for more than just those few days, obviously, something else changed. And whatever had changed, is giving Jaws the jitters. 

Since you said you leave your computer on, here is something to consider.
If your computer goes to stand-by after a period of time, and requires the log-in screen when it wakes up, Jaws does not come back on willingly. Meaning that I have seen Jaws come back and have problems until you reboot the system. 
I don't suspect this to be your problem, but it's a potential scenario.
Please provide more details in your next email. What version of Jaws are you running? 
Is it XP or Vista?
What other major softwares are installed in your system?
Most important, what changes were made immediately prior to you experiencing this Jaws problem? When you are experiencing this Jaws problem, exactly how is it behaving? Please describe the Jaws behavior as closely as you can.

In the last few days, I've noticed a very annoying thing with Jaws. I almost never shut my computer off. Let's say that I stop using it in the evening and in the morning when I use it again, Jaws is frozen. It doesn't talk. My computer still functions but Jaws doesn't. It sometimes works again if I exit and then restart Jaws. But, sometimes, it doesn't even do that. I have to end up restarting my computer. 

Can anyone help?
