FYI, in case you have students who might be interested:

Interested in audio description?  Research funded by the New School for
Social Research is seeking blind people to participate in telephone
focus groups on the use of audio description.  Participants will receive
an honorarium of $50 each for their contribution and all information
provided will remain strictly confidential. Focus groups will be held
Friday Sept 30th at 10am-12pm EST and at 1pm-3pm EST (a toll-free number
will be provided).  If you have experienced audio description of film,
tv, or live theater/dance, and would like to participate, please email
