Hi - I have a new edited book coming out - it is at the printer right
now at Erlbaum. It is called:
Touch and Blindness: Psychology and Neuroscience. I expect that it
will be available soon. It includes chapters by myself, Soledad
Ballesteros (also an editor), John M. Kennedy, Susanna Millar, Jose
Munoz (of the Spanish organization of people who are visually
impaired, ONCE), Krish Sathian, Alvaro Pascual-Leone, and Mel Goodale.
Some of the material is on tactual pictures, and some
concerns the multimodal nature of perception. The approach is from a
psychological perspective and also from the standpoint of
neuroscience. Many of you may find it interesting reading. Look out
for it , and I'll keep you posted.
