Hello Barry:
Personally, I like the Tactile Image Enhancer from Repro-Tronics the
best. The Flexi Paper from Repro-Tronics is fabric based, and the Swell
Touch paper from American Thermoform is paper based. The Flexi paper can be
folded up and taken outside in the rain with no ill affects. The paper based
swell paper will hold a crease if folded and if it gets wet, the paper
backing could be dammaged. You can't put either media in a laser printer.
Its best to print on the paper with HP inkjet printers as the ink from these
printers is carbon based. It is possible to print an image on plain paper
and then photocopy the image on the Swell Touch paper with a copier, but you
need to use an office copier that doesn't get too hot, or the paper will
swell inside the machine. This can dammage a copier. Hope this helps.
REgards,
Robert Jaquiss
