The workshop, titled "Make a Picture for Your Fingertips," will allow kids to
learn how and why pictures are made to be read by touch. They will use special
paper and materials to create an instant touch picture to take home. Children
must be accompanied by an adult. Space is limited. Participants must register
by tomorrow.

Kids will also be able to explore the museum's collection of maps, globes,
books and other educational aids developed for the blind and visually impaired.
They will be able to practice writing in Braille, see the first book embossed
for blind readers, play a computer game designed for blind students and more.
