TACTUS AWARD 2004 RESULTS

The European jury, leaded by Mme Marie-H=E9l=E8ne DOUGNAC (teatcher at  =
the Ecole Nationale Sup=E9rieure des Sciences de l'Information et des =
Biblioth=E8ques, french representant at l'IFLA (International Federation =
of Librarians Associations) has deliberated the 15th and the 16th of =
November in Dijon. They had to choose among 70 entries already selected =
in each country (Germany, Finland, United Kingdom, Belgium, Italy, =
France). It was been a very hard job because of the high quality of all =
the presented entries.

Both award  in the 2 categories (under 7 years and 7-12 years old)=20
will be produced in 5 languages during 2005.

The trophy will be given Saturday 27th November at the Montreuil Book =
fair by Anne HERBAUTS, one of our youth literacy famous Belgian =
writer-illustrator, and the "Direction du Livre et de la Lecture" French =
Ministry of Culture.
