[accessibleimage] Re: TranSend

Hi Sandra,

My husband is the Disability Support Coordinator at Genesee Community
College. They have a TranSend unit that he uses with a Juliet Pro60,
but it is a two-step process and is difficult for someone who is blind
to properly align the print with the braille.

ViewPlus makes Braille printers, combined ink and Braille printers and
Braille translation software
(see http://www.viewplus.com/products/braille-embossers).
I don't know anyone who has used this system, but you can join the
Tiger list and ask.
For Tiger User Group subscription type "Sign me up" in the subject
line and send the message to:
userlist-subscribe@xxxxxxxxxxxx .

Good luck!

I transcribe materials for a school system and am considering the
purchase
of TranSend by Enabling Technologies in order to include braille and
print
on the page. I would appreciate feedback from anyone who has used
this
product. I would also be interested in available alternatives that
would
work with my Juliet Pro60.
