Annette and Susan both:
If a workshop is possible in Louisiana, please let me know too.
Thanks,
Sharon

To Susan Osterhaus:
Thank you for the information about the Tiger workshop at TSBVI.
I wonder if there would be any possibility of having Pat VanGeem
come to Louisiana to present the same workshop, in case teachers in
our state are not able to travel to Texas.
Could you please inquire as to the possibility of this?
I work for the LSVI (La. School for the Visually Impaired), and I
think you have presented a math workshop there in the past. My job
is an outreach teacher of the visually impaired, and assistive
technology consultant. Mrs. Janet Ford, director of LSVI, has asked
me to gather information for a possibly tactile graphics workshop.
So when I saw the email, I thought this would be a possible way we
could bring some excellent training to LSVI for our teachers and
staff and others in our state.
I will look forward to hearing from you soon!

Hi Sharon,
Pat VanGeem (from the TSBVI Outreach Department) is giving a Tiger
workshop on June 10th at Region 4 in Houston. He will be working on
MS Draw for making tactile graphics. He will also be talking about
the Tiger Suite Software. You would need to register with Region 4,
and he thinks the cost is $20. If you cannot make the workshop,
contact Pat personally at <mailto:vangeemp@xxxxxxxxx>vangeemp@xxxxxxxxxx

We've recently purchased a Tiger and would like any resources
available, such as conference workshop handouts or web references,
to help learn how to make best use of the new machine.
