Dear accessible imagers,
Just a FINAL note on the patent issue that may affect us all. The following
advice has been received on my behalf, in the US, from the US Patent Office.
"US PO published the TTT patent app. last year (2003) on the Patent Office
Internet site. Protesters have a 2 month period in which to protest that
application after which a formal protest cannot be filed. However and this is
very important. If the attorney concerned is supplied with pertinent "prior
art" anything published or proof of sale then his "Duty of Disclosure" must be
followed and he must supply that info to the patent reviewer at US PO..
This will now be done.
The following will be submitted by certified mail to Darby and Darby as advised.
Video film (NTSC converted) from 1988, NHK News in Japan 1992, the list of
publications and some 10 pdf files on CD will be sent to Darby & Darby in New
York.
I do not make a habit of scanning the US patent Office web site - do you?
As TTT had so much decalred 'admiration' for all my work it would have been
nice of them to let me know just which bits of it they were 'borrowing' with a
view to excluding TGD from all future sales in the USA! - no matter we now have
a procedure and advice from US PO and it will be followed.
Thank you all for your patience - I should add that Mr. Landau has not made any
firther conatct, nor has Karen Gourgey, nor have Baruch College of CUNY and nor
have Darby & Darby, the attorneys for the Patent in New York.
See some of you in Birmingham at SIGHT Village I hope.
