You also have to show them there is a scientifiic theory behind like John M
Kennedy's work and the works of Yvone Eriksson . The whole process of
simplifing pictures for the haptic sense, then it will be interesting for
design schools.

Hi,
There is something I have been wondering and I figure 150-200 or so heads are
better than one to figure it out. What I have been wondering is, how to tell
design schools that it would be a good idea to teach design students about
making tactile graphics, graphics for low-vision users, about embossers, about
designing for other senses than sight? Some schools do, but somehow I don't
think it is enough. Any ideas?
Thanks.
Best,
Lisa
