Hi,
I am working on designing SVG maps to be used on a PC for low-vision
users and am looking for testers. SVG
is a picture file like gif, jpeg, but unlike them the pictures are
described by text.
The maps are interactive, the image can be enlarged, made smaller, moved
around the screen (these are "built-in" function of SVG) and have sound.
I would like to get feedback on them. Currently the text on the maps is in
Norwegian, but I could change this to English (French,
Turkish) if there are enough that wish. The maps are fairly simple.
It is not a program but SVG files and audio files (.wav). The only
requirement would be downloading a free SVGviewer
from Adobe.com
SVG is a language for describing two-dimensional graphics and graphical
applications in XML

If you are interested or want to find out more send me a mail.
Best,
Lisa
