[accessibleimage] Re: Resources for Learning about Astronomy?

Hi Everett,
Are you familiar with the tactile album containing pictures of the solar
system? Author - Cinzia Guroli. Title - Terra, Luna, Sole. The book is in
Italian but there is very little languge to read - mainly names. This could
be a good introduction before you move to more distant regions of the
galaxy.
The book was produced by Tactile Vision Onlus in Italy (not to be confused
with Tactilve Vision in Canada - another producer of very good quality
tactile graphics). I hope this e-mail address is still good if you want more
details: tactile@xxxxxxxxx If not, try to contact Fabio Levi at
fabio.levi@xxxxxxxx The price on the copy I have is 29.95 Euros. The book
contains 23 'legal size' tactile illustrations (silk screen) - the Earth.
the solar systems. the Moon, different phases of the Moon etc...
Best wishes - Bob Marek
