[accessibleimage] Resources for Learning about Astronomy?

Hello all,

I have a request that I think some here can help with...

I remember reading some messages here about the pics that came through when
the GoBot thingies landed on Mars. I am interested in finding as many
resources as possible, that will allow a blind person to more easily
understand and learn about the stars. About astronomy.

Can anyone reading this please share whatever you may know on that
subject? Feel free to foward this message to those you think could offer
tips, resources, or help, also. Thanks very much.

My name is Everett. I'm a 34 year old dad, who wants to start learning
about the universe, so I can better help my daughters, ages 5 & 7, learn
about them. I've been blind for about a decade now, hence the request for
resources. That's my personal interest. My professional interest stems
from the fact that I'm in the process of putting together an article
discussing such things. Blind people who study the stars, and who are
doing things in a positive fashion. I want to write about the successes,
the possible struggles, and about the resources out there already.

All help will be greatly appreciated. My contact info is below. Thanks
again for any help with this educational process. =)

Sincerely,
Everett
