ROLLING RIGHT ALONG CONSTRUCTION KIT (MODEL 1-08451-00)
The Rolling Right Along Construction Kit, model 1-08451-00, is a tactile
book designed for use by children who are blind or have low vision. This
kit allows teachers and parents to construct books similar to Rolling
Into Place from American Printing House (see separate entry), an
interactive tactile storybook, using included accordion-folded panels,
Velcro pathways, and accessory items such as braillable sheets and
Sticky Dots adhesive. Self-designed books can be tailored to the
interests and needs of a particular child with a visual impairment or
blindness. The construction materials are accompanied by a full-color
User's Guide that provides story suggestions, tips for adding tactile
embellishments, and sample book layouts.
