[accessibleimage] Re: Questions about Swell paper and tactile graphics

We had the same experience with reprographics paper. We tried working with the company president testing a newer product - same results. We no longer use their products. Now we order swell paper from American Thermoform co, City of Commerce, CA 90040 and have used it trouble free for more than 3 years in our laser printer. Contrary to other comments about swell paper, we have made hundreds of trouble free graphics, for several Florida School districts as well as the State of Florida with this paper. The heat from the printer does not cause the surface to swell however we process it through the PIAF "toaster" immediately and this enhances the textures on the final swell paper print.

RE: Swell paper and Laser Printers
I tried the swell paper (actually a plastic type sheet from
Reprographics), but spent quite some time dismantling my laser printer
and cleaning out the melted plastic. Are you guys using a non-plastic
composition paper and if so from whom do you but it?
