[accessibleimage] Portraits of Macular Degeneration

I realise this is a rather off-centre take on our topic, but hopefully it's of interest.

PORTRAITS OF. MACULAR DEGENERATION Exhibition of portraits by Adam Hahn at Mascalls Gallery, Paddock Wood, Kent, England, from 13 June to 17 July 2008.

The artist has tried to see the world through the eyes of his subjects, who have Macular Degeneration.

There may be some details on the London Group artists; web site, but as it's so inaccessible I can't recommend it.

BBC Radio 4 has just broadcast an item on this on the Front Row arts programme. This is the aduio. The item is about 12 minutes in, after Coldplay and The Likely Lads.

This URL may well change after today.

It does seem that this exhibition forms a useful bridge between the doctors involved in the London MD Project and their patients, not to mention the wider public.

Vince.
