Subject: [accessibleimage] I need assisstance..
Hello everybody:
I am a computer science graduate student. I mostly used to rely on screen
reader software's and with difficulty, I sometimes use screen magnification
software's. With my screenreader, I used to read mall my course required books
that has been translated by the disability service of the school. For some
reason the university has literally stopped sending these translated material.
I am at a major junction of finishing my MS requirement and starting my Ph.D.
qualification research on the next spring semester. I can't use Braille
because of some reason.
Due to the above mentioned situations, I am being forced to cut down on the
amount of courses I am taking from 3 courses to 1 course for the next semester.
However now, when I brought up these situation to my state counselor (the state
is one of my education fund sponsors), he suggested that, if I can get enough
supporting letters from different blind/visually impaired people who has been
through these kind of similar situation, I can be able to continue my course
study as a part time student.
If anybody is interested in providing, indicating or suggesting any direction
for me to follow, or want to have further questions answered, please contact me
at:
hararghe1@xxxxxxx
Thank you very much.
Wess
