Hi Will, Lisa and all,
Both ifeelpixel and The vOICe Learning Edition support tactile
feedback devices such as the Logitech Wingman Force Feedback
mouse, the Logitech iFeel mouse and the HP Force Feedback Mouse.
This is further outlined on my web page at the URL
http://www.seeingwithsound.com/winvfaq.htm#faq_ifeelpixel
However, having only a single point (pixel) of contact can be
a bit counter-intuitive with complex images, and I chose not
to pursue this further until more versatile haptic devices
would become available (and affordable). Most tactile feedback
devices were targeted at mass-market gaming, and so far less
successful for that than hoped.
With The vOICe Learning Edition and a suitable haptic device,
you can set image gradient force level, brightness vibration
level and brightness friction level. It can be used to "feel"
camera images, imported image files or items such as icons on
the Windows desktop.
Best regards,
Peter Meijer

Hi Will,
I have worked a little bit with Logitechs haptic feedback mouse a few
years back. We tried it out a bit. It was very interesting and definitly a
lot of potential.
